afternoon every one

Hi everyone, well I have been busy, made some curtains, these are going to my friends shop and I hope i will get some orders from them, I also started on 4 chairs that i had lying around, found some great material and decided to recover them and repaint, then i thought 4 chairs will look odd so found a table that i will start on tomorrow, how is it that you start on one thing and this leads to another, my little dog had fun she found my box of lace that i had left on the floor and must of thought that would be a good game lets take them all out, so that took me a while to sort it all out, finally decided what my next project will be, I am going to do a baby shop, i love making the prams and i seem to of amassed a lot of bit so i thought why not, see mojo well and truly back,

really pleased today, got work done and then started on my work room, and guess what my mojo came back, tidied and sorted work room, decided to start work on the curtains, nothing to show you yet as I am cutting out patterns and sorting out the material and trims that I want to use, have put some pictures on for you to see,

there hope you have some idea of my little work place, this year it will be fitted out, the walls will be lined and shelving added, hopefully I can get started on it soon, waiting for my friend, he is going to do it for me but he is busy, looking forward to that but not to the clearing out as I have so much stuff.

Good morning to you all

I did start the new year with such good intentions, projects, tutorials, healthy eating and exercise, and what happened THE FLU!!! there was me thinking I am ok,  just a little cold and I will still be able to do things, who was I kidding, apart from drinking and sleeping I could not do anything else, so in the end I gave in and stayed in bed letting it take over and here I am a week later recovering, still not 100% but getting there,
so today I will be starting something not sure what yet, I have got to do some curtains to go to my friends shop, as samples, make a few more objects for her as well, but I also want to start my own project, I have half started my Egyptian shop, made the ornaments ect, but need to decide what paper to use and I am still researching that, I also have a 2 storey dolls house that is in need of renovation, but I cannot decide what to do with it, and there is my big dolls house  a Victorian house, so you see I have enough to be going on with. oh forgot a room box which I am hoping to become a baby shop, just got to decide which one to do.
before I can start I will have to tidy my work room, it has got into a bit of  a state, messy and untidy, how is it you start off thinking I will ensure that I keep a tidy work place  and what happens suddenly you are surrounded by mess, I think the little people creep in and do it when I am not looking,
well enough rambling, house work to do first, then walk the dog, prepare dinner, then its my turn, oh for a cleaner, think I have asked for that before, well I can dream,
so and I mean it today will see you later in my work room

Thank you for some of the lovely comments I have been reading this morning, its so nice to know that you like my work, it gives me great pleasure when i read the nice things that are said,
anyway bit of a set back, there was me all set to get creating and wham i get a cold, fine i say just carry on as we woman do, but my body had other ideas, lets go a bit further with this it said, so it changes to flu!! well thank you very much, but not content with that my body decides to start on my breathing the upshot was urgent trip to Doctors where it turns out I have strained my rib gage by all the coughing, now you would think with the medication I take, ( I take a lot for my arthritic condition) i would not need any more but good old faithful paracetamol, helped and now getting better, still weak and not up to much but will today hopefully start again to create,
sometime i feel life is out to conspire against me, it will never win, so we keep having these little battles, makes life so interesting.

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy new year to you all

now that Christmas and new year is out the way I can again concentrate on my miniatures, I had a very nice Xmas and got lots of goodies, family all round, too much to eat and far to much to drink, thank goodness its over for another year. love it really, but glad to get the decorations down, the house back to normal and a new year to look forward to

So what is happening in my world of miniatures.
My friend had opened a dolls house shop last year, a risky time but she is cooking on gas, selling like mad, it seems it was just what this area was looking for, this also meant that more people got to see my miniatures I had created, and they sold and sold, now I am left with some empty spaces which I have to fill, I am also going to have a go at making curtains, I will try to remember to put them on here

I  will also try to put on a tutorial every week, finish my own dolls house and write my blog regularly, see where I am going here, yes I made some resolutions, and having put them in writing I am hoping that will make me keep them,

so my miniature friends, just to get the housework done, walk the dog and then to my work room see you all there later

so sorry I have just not had time to write anything on my blog, had some orders for miniatures that I had to get done for xmas presents, then my own stuff, so have decided to wait till next year and start then

morning all
sorry for delay, having to have a few days off, theres me all ready camera loaded, items ready, stepped back and fell over, now suffering with a bad back, so out of action for a few days, i have a condition called RSD, i know fancy words, basically i stay in pain and anything can make it worse, so falling over is not my best idea, but hopefully, it usually only takes a few days then i am back to running around, so my friends will be back as soon as i can
