after the excitement of my gravel being laid, I am now tucked up in bed feeling quite poorly, so on orders I am having a few days rest

yes it happened, yesterday we had no rain, so my gravel as now been laid, garden starting to look good, I just had to tell you.

and its still raining!!!!

I wish I could tell you different, but, yes, its still raining, yesterday we did have a dry day so we managed to get some gardening done, but I am still waiting for the stones to be laid, we have no date it will just be the day it is not raining, so that will be ?????????????

I have got my head around my visit to the hospital last week and the news they gave me, at first I did feel very low, but I now think at least I will know what I am facing and will be able to get on with it, I have started the new drugs and no improvement yet, but it is early days, I am having to learn to pace myself, I get very breathless, even simple things like hoovering can cause me problems, so its learning to deal with it and find ways around things so that life is easier for me. I do feel sad for my son, he lives with me, he is only 22 and its hard for him, as he takes on most of the cleaning and cooking and looks after me, I do not like him seeing me like I am, but he seems to cope, well he never complains, bless him.

On to a happier note, I have been doing my miniatures, after the disaster with the duck house, I started again, this time I am making a beach hut for them, together with a little beach scene, I am only using bits that I already have, so I have been cutting, sanding and my favourite bit painting, it seems to take forever, I cut and paint and then wait for that to dry before I can start on the next stage. Anyway some photos for you to see my progress
