Kopy Kat furniture

Hi All

We are having a bit of respite with the weather, its been cooler and a bit cloudy, but do not worry the heat will be back, they are saying we will be hitting 30's and above next week, I have brought a big fan so I hope I can get into my work room more.

So glad you liked my last lot of mini's, I have been carrying on with my quest of reproducing normal size furniture into minis, this time I have done a lovely set of drawers, I must admit I would love to do this in real size to, have a look

new minis

Hi All

Its been hot! hot! hot!, yes we are finally having a great summer, we have been hotter than many places overseas, so its our time to brag, I used to love lying in the sun, getting my body brown and browner, but now I will confess, it is to hot from me, one of the things I suffer with my condition is very similar to hot flushes and this heat is making it very difficult for me to stay cool, but on the plus side, my joints are feeling great, can't win can I.

I have been able to do a bit of mini work, cannot be in my work room for long, I have been looking at real size items and have now got a folder of stuff would like to copy in miniature.

I also finished a settee set, I repainted this black and recovered with some fantastic fabric, yes I know its not shabby chic, but with the material I had it would be suitable for that style, I made cushions in silk to go with it.

The first 2 items I made in my attempt to turned out pretty good, if I may say so myself, have a look and see what you think.

I had to show you this, my doggies at bedtime, yes I know they do share my bed.

Thank you

Hi All

thank you very much for your lovely comment's about my latest creation, just got to wait now for the wedding, got to get my outfit, but am on a diet so am waiting a couple ore weeks, just want to lose a few pounds. But hard for me as I carry a lot of fluid.

On a very exciting note, I have been looking for an old printer's drawer to display my mini collection, and I got one, need to clean it up a bit, will not be painted, just polished to bring out the wood, then I will have to find a home for it.

every year I turn part of my garden into a wild garden for the insects, little creatures and birds, and I am always amazed at the colours of flowers that come through, most of these are weeds and usually we would rip them up and throw them away, but when we leave it to nature, she shows us what a fantastic array of "flowers" she can produce, have a look
