HAPPY NEW YEAR

Hi all

Thank you all for your kind words and support that you have given me in the past year,it meant a lot.

Happy New Year to you all,  I hope you had a great Christmas, I did, the best part was,my son and his wife were home or over a week and I got to have my grandson Jack for 2 days, they went shopping or something, did not really care were they went, I had Jack to myself, it was the best present they could give me. They are back in Edinburgh now and I have already been looking at train costs, I have applied for my  disabled rail-card, so will get some savings there.

Anyway, what have you planned for this year? me, well finally I am going to make a start on my big dolls house I got last Christmas. I think I told you before, it will become a modern day shopping emporium. It is to big for me to work on it in my work room,so I have just ordered a small pine unit, this will sit in  my lounge and the shop above it. It has 2 drawers and a cupboard below,so I will have room to store bits away.

In the meantime I have been busy researching and finding ideas for my shop. I want to change the ground floor, it has a arch between the 2 rooms, I want to remove this and the lower stairs to make a large room with sweeping stairs to the next floor, I have been gathering ideas and putting them on Pinterest,I love Pinterest,so addictive!!! anyway, the ground floor will be accessories for men and women, this includes, hats, bags, jewellery, perfumes, umbrellas, shoes basically anything that comes within the frame of accessories.

The second floor will be ladies and men's clothing, top floor, baby clothes and nursery equipment and a hairdressing saloon,as has a flat roof, this will be a coffee shop and small garden, I have a conservatory that is still in its box, so will be using that.

I decided that this shop will be modern as I wanted to do something different, it will be a bit shabby chic but also very ornate.

I will show you as I go along with this project, the good, the bad and the ugly.
so that is my big plan.

enough nattering, here are a few photo's
